Job Brief

• We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team of engineers with our Client in the Tech Industry. At this time we are only looking for a candidate based in Lagos Nigeria.This is a full-time position. You’ll have the opportunity to work on software solutions that utilize modern web technologies to provide world-class solutions that serve the wellness industry.
• In addition to the details outlined below, the successful candidate will have a Mid-level understanding and experience with Object-Oriented Programming, will be self-motivated, have a love for learning and new technology.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Minimum 2.1) qualification.
• Knowledge of CMS preferably WordPress.
• Experienced working in firebase or similar cloud service.
• Experienced in developing to secure and efficient code with Cordova for iPhone and android.
• Ability to build client-side applications viewed in web browsers and mobile devices.
• Strong experience with PHP (Laravel Framework).
• A proven track record of developing well-written and aesthetically pleasing websites and applications using JavaScript (vanilla, JSON, Gulp), HTML, and CSS.
• An understanding of SEO and Analytics.
• Well-versed in version control tools (GIT), cloud architectures, containerization.
• DevOps etc.
• Experience working with design software such as Figma and/or Sketch
• An ability to understand common UX patterns with an ability to identify and mitigate UX design risks early in the development process
• Use your strong communication skills to manage both internal stakeholders (ensuring your voice is heard and you are able to effectively articulate your vision)
• Use your extreme attention to detail to spot errors both in your code and on our websites
• Use your initiative to source opportunities for continuous improvement in your own work and in team processes
• Use your excellent time management abilities to prioritize daily tasks in accordance with overarching company goals
• Above all, you'll be curious and hungry to learn in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Be passionate about creating specifications and documentation for developed codes and APIs.
• (Desirable)A basic understanding of using linting tools such as ESLint and StyleLint.
• Ability to communicate equally effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Modern programming languages like Javascript, PHP, Android, IOS, MySQL database, Python.
• Modern Cloud-Native architectures and practices. To name some: high-availability, high-scalability, microservices, 12-factor apps, CI/CD, heavy testing automation, and observability.
• TDD, BDD, and Contract testing.
• Working in a DevOps environment, or passion and willingness to work in this way.
• Extensive commercial Full-stack development experience.
• Extensive commercial Javascript development experience.
• 5+ years experience with PHP.
• 3+ years experience with application design/architecture.
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience designing or building REST APIs·
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies · Advanced experience/knowledge of database architecture and design.
• History/knowledge of successful development workflows.
• HTML & CSS and Cordova.
• Knowledge of CMS preferably WordPress.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly
