Motak is into Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering works, Provision of Manpower Services ( Highly-skilled, Semi-skilled and Unskilled) Motak is also into Offshore and Onshore Facilities Maintenance Services such as (Painting, Insulation, Absceillers Scaffolders and Fabrication) and enhances the experience of indigenous engineers and Administrators around the globe. Motak services is not limited to private individual, government parastatals, manufacturing and energy industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Diving and Marine Maintenance Services Engineer - DIVING AP / CSR

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The diving Authorized Person (AP) must verify that site specific contingency plans, supported by assessments, are in place, for all foreseeable emergencies and includes arrangements to recover divers and evacuate diving support vessels.
• Verifying that diving contractors carry out the diving operation in accordance with the Diving SME approved Diving Operations Plan (DOP).
• Confirming through the Shell Permit to Work system and other complimentary permits that the diving contractor is aware of concurrent operations, which may affect the diving operation.
• Understand and verify that the required isolations are in place.
• The diving AP will further verify the original certificates and diving logbooks of the dive team members on site.
• Participate in Risk Assessment meetings.
• Must fully comprehend the task that is to be undertaken, the methodology to be used and be thoroughly conversant with the rules, regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Marine Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Professionally Qualified Engineer (PADI) Professional Advance Diving Institute (COREN / Engineering Council registered) and / or member Project Management Professional (Preferred)
• Engineer qualification
• Must have at least 10 years work experience.
