We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Risk Management

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Job Level: Managerial

Job Summary

• Develop and implements a robust risk management framework and action plan to minimize and eliminate identified or potential risk to the Group’s business and growth plans
• Defines/updates policies and procedures governing enterprise risk management, monitoring various departments operations to ensure compliance and promote operational efficiency.
• Conduct research to access business risks and liaises with the head of departments to identify potential risks to success outlining findings and making recommendations on risk mitigating strategies.
• Develops, monitors, and test risk management tools.
• Reviews internal (infrastructure, personnel, process, technology) and external (economic, natural, political, competition) factors in operating environment to ascertain potential risk to Groups business operations and growth plans.
• Makes recommendations to reduce/control risk ensuring adequate controls are put in place.
• Maintains reports of risk portfolio performance variances and trends with analysis for recommended adjustments to controls and models.
• Oversees and monitors the periodic review of the operational processes Group wide to ascertain weakness, and risk management gaps and proffer improvement solutions.
• Develops risk mitigation strategies for identified operational, business, financial and people risks.
• Provides guidance to head of business units/functions and managers in integration of enterprise risk management with other business planning and management activities.
• Review and reports on the Group’s compliance with industry/statutory laws and regulations responds to ad hoc risk issues at all levels of the organization.
• Conduct risk management awareness and build a risk management culture.

Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related numerate discipline and MBA.
• Relevant professional certificate in risk management from GARP, CRMCP.
• Relevant professional certificate e.g. ICAN.
• Minimum of 10yrs cognate in risk management function, 5 out of which must have been at a managerial position.
