Overview

Do you have a deep experience contributing to and managing full-scale production web applications and custom wordpress themes and WP plugins development? You can demonstrate superior/expert knowledge and experience with the ins and outs of WordPress (Plugin / Theme Development / API / Configuration / Advanced Custom Fields)

We are currently hiring for a Senior PHP and Wordpress developer with extensive experience in creating web applications, custom wordpress themes and WP plugins development. We are NOT looking for junior developers, or developers with a basic working knowledge of PHP or wordpress, but we are searching for someone who is truly top-notch at PHP and custom WP platform/plugin development.

Job Description

• We are looking for someone who is passionate and committed to growing with the team and company vision. You’ll have strong teamwork and communication skills - we collaborate a lot!
• Must be 100% committed and ready to work full time. We are not looking for a freelancer. Proven experience is required; therefore, beginners and inexperienced Developers need not apply.

Qualifications

• Have some solid web apps developed in PHP
• 3 - 5 years in software development using PHP and other libraries;
• Demonstrate expert knowledge and experience with the ins and outs of WordPress (Plugin / Theme Development / API / Configuration / Advanced Custom Fields)
• Expertise in creating and implementing custom themes (Converting UI/UX web designs into WordPress compatible HTML) and plugins.
• Experienced in connecting WordPress to third-party services using API integrations and plugins.
• Strong front end skills including solid experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Proven experience in PHP frameworks, and third-party libraries
• Well-versed in modern best practices like Test Driven Development and Object Oriented Programming.
• Solid knowledge of architectural patterns
• Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle;
• Have proficient experience working with version control (e.g. Git.)
• Familiar with Docker/Docker Compose
• Ability to write readable code, create extensive documentation for existing code, and refactor the previously written code into readable state.
• Strong understanding of design patterns over and above MVP, MVVM, and MVC
• Experience in Angular will be a bonus.
