We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Auto Electrician / Rewirer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Inspect vehicle engine and electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Keep logs on work and issues
• Design and test parts for moving vehicles
• Design, manufacture, and operate engineering subsystems
• Engineer attributes of an automobile
• Produce visual interpretations of automobiles and their parts
• Select materials for production
• Use mechanical, thermodynamic, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical principles to resolve engineering problems
• Build prototypes
• Develop test procedures and test moving vehicles
• Supervise the process of manufacturing, installation, and operation of vehicles
• Inspect vehicle for defects
• Investigate electricalfailures
• Select and purchase appropriate materials
• Prepare cost and timing estimates.

Requirements

• FSLC qualification with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
