Senior Business Analyst at Tomato Jos Farming and Processing Limited

Tomato Jos is a private equity-backed, fast-growing, for-profit social enterprise located in Kaduna, Nigeria, that believes in the power of local production for local consumption. Our company aims to supply 10% of the processed tomato market in Nigeria within the next 5 years. We source tomatoes from smallholder farmers within our network and make high-quality branded consumer products for Nigeria and West Africa. We currently operate a 500Ha commercial farm and run a successful smallholder program with over 500 farmers. In 2020, the company built a tomato processing facility and we will conduct our first production run in Q1/Q2 2021, to launch our first retail packaged product later this year.

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Mission and Long-Term Goal

• The Senior Business Analyst has critical mission of facilitating the development of an optimal business processes for the organization.
• This will involve collaborating with all other stakeholders to define baseline processes leading to constant optimization. The role will also be responsible for the set-up and creation of a Project Management Framework for the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Senior Business Analystswill be responsible for ensuring that the organization has a predicatble and well defined Business Processes at all times.
• The role will also setup and manage the Progrect Management System for the Organization, which will also including assisting the company to execute business strategies and ensure that the desired result is achieved in a timely and effective manner.
• Document the baseline processes for the Organization
• Drive the optimization process for the Organizational Processes.
• Drive and champion the change management required for the Process Optimization exercise
• Ensure that necessary and required updates are documented as required
• Maintain a repository of all Business Process Documentation
• Generate Business Intelligence from organizational dataset and information
• Generate Micro and Macro level Intelligence relevant to the Organization
• Implement the PowerBI Solution for the organization
• Support the grant preparation and monitoring processes
• Support the set up of the Project Management Office for the organization
• Develop Operational Reporting Framework for the Organization
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required for the Job

• Bachelor's Degree in any of the Social Sciences
• 4-6 years accounting experience
• Intermediate competence in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Six Sigma (Green, Black, Lean)
• Project Management
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing plant or other highly operational industry
• Ability to research, compile, analyses, and interpret data

Remuneration
Salary is commensurate to experience within the range of industry standards. A communication allowance, pension, and health insurance are included, and an annual performance-based bonus may be awarded at the discretion of the executive management team. Please note that adequate security is provided to the whole Tomato Jos team.
