Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Qualified applicants must be able to develop and implement a growth and strategic business development plan that fosters attraction, conversion, and retention of students.
The applicant will be charged with the responsibility of leading the Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless conversion through setting relevant policy, procedures, quality standards, customer service standards, and ensuring their delivery to all prospective parents are top-notch.
Ensure that Standard Bearers Schools has effective and well-organized outreach programmes with the internal and external local community which develops and builds on the school’s reputation.
Develop, execute and regularly monitor marketing, retention, and admissions plan for the school that directs each phase of the internal and external marketing process.
Manage Marketing and Student Recruitment budget and ROI of marketing activities carried out on daily basis.
The preferred candidate must constantly ensure an up-to-date evidence base of the needs and concerns of our internal and external stakeholders in relation to the growth and retention of students.
Contribute to the wider business through sharing best practices with the wider community and supporting business development opportunities.
To ensure that your school’s key touch-points for parents, from awareness to signing and beyond, are based on parental needs and your school’s defined promises are properly designed, implemented, and monitored, and that each is evaluated for effectiveness.
Conducting market research and identifying potential customers.
Building strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
Collate and maintain client information in the school’s database.
Identify new business opportunities and partners.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
Generation sales lead from corporates and professional bodies
Analyse trends/news/competition in the corporate education sector.
Set up strategic marketing plans for our products through comprehensive market research
Must be able to create an outreach program that widens the school’s network and positive relationships and reputation in and within the community.
To ensure that every member of staff in the school is aware of their role in attracting, converting, and retaining students and is actively and appropriately engaged in all three activities.
Commercially aware and results-driven with good business acumen.
Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to different tasks at hand.
Proactive and able to prompt others to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved, calm working under pressure.

Qualification, Experience & Knowledge Required
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
7 years experience in a Sales / Marketing role within the education sector
Strong analytical skills and a proven record of using data and research to support initiatives undertaken.
Ability to build, manage and motivate cross-functional high-performing teams.
Experience in monitoring competitor market activity.
Experience in using digital and social media trends and tools to influence sales effectively.
Understands and is able to build strong customer advocacy and repeat client loyalty and retention.
Experience in high level networking to build creative and mutually beneficial relationships that positively impact strategic and tactical business development.
