Job Summary

• We are actively searching for highly creative and professional ‘Videographers/Photographers & Editors’to join our young team.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate the capability and eagerness to generate digital content (videos and photos) from short clips to long-form storytelling that conveys the ‘SKYMAX Studios’ brand, all its sister companies/brands, and for all its client brands in innovative, authentic, memorable, and captivating ways.
• This position is cardinal to SKYMAX Studios’ capacity to deliver top-rated photography and Videography solutions to teeming customers and clients. It is also key in furthering its communication and marketing objectives lead by our ‘Social Media Manager for the planning, implementing, executing, monitoring, and managing of all our digital marketing and sales activities across all channels/mediums particularly via digital/online networks, as well as all offline platforms/channels.
• This Videographer/Photographer & Editors position will report directly to the Creative Director as well as to all the Executives in a cross-functional role across projects, assignments, and production activities.
• This is primarily a Videographer/Photographer & Editors position, hence, preference will be given to candidates with photography, videography and editing skills. Additional skills such as design, social media, marketing, and animation will also be considered an added advantage.
• We are seeking an enterprising professional who is up-to-date on photo/video shooting/editing skills/trends and driven to creatively capture all our clients’ photo/video cravings, and as well as for our marketing needs from studio video/photoshoot to all outdoor video/photoshoot across all-range of activities and events.

Job Description
The responsibilities of this position include Shoot, edit, and produce professional videos and photographs for SKYMAX Studios’ clients/customers, and for use across multiple channels - website, social media platforms, print publications, email communications, public relations outreach, advertisements, special events, meetings/presentations, and other media as the need arises:

• Generate high-quality still images and videos worthy of wide audiences that showcase SKYMAX Studios’ brands, products, services, people, events, and all other offerings;
• Receive and manage all SKYMAX Studios’ brands’ video and photography requests. Schedule, organize and manage video and photo shoots. Maintain a video and photoshoot calendar;
• Assign assistant photographers to cover some events that deliver top quality service to clients;
• Storyboard concepts, film and conduct interviews, gather necessary b-roll footage, and edit videos to meet the SKYMAX Studios’ brands marketing and communication standards and needs;
• Suggest and implement ideas for promotional video/photoshoots to help SKYMAX Studios’ brands attract more quality clients that helps increase its online community/follower-ship;
• Work to ensure all photography and videography created by the theSKYMAX Studios’ brands meets Social Media best standards;
• Attentively archive and organize valuable photography and video assets for future reuse for projects;
• Add and organize photos in the dropbox account;
• Maintain all photography and videography gear and equipment;
• All other administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education:

• Flair & Passion for excellence is highly essential;
• 1-3 years of experience in video and digital photography, preferably in a top professional photography studio, digital marketing or advertising position with in-depth proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, and After Effects;
• Ability to expertly operate high-level cameras, video cameras, microphones, and lighting;
• Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies on photo/video shooting/editing skills/trends and exceptionally driven to creatively capture all our clients’ photo/video cravings, and as well as for our marketing needs from studio video/photoshoot environment to all outdoor video/photoshoot across all-range of activities and events;
• Demonstrated proficiency and passion for modern photography and videography styles.
• A high level of creativity and innovation in photography/videography/editing services, & customer service/management;
• Enthusiasm for a variety of image styles and a commitment to quality work across;
• Must be comfortable working both independently and with our collaborative team of creative professionals;
• Must be dependable, respectful, self-motivated, adaptable, efficient, and personable;
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills cannot be overemphasized;
• Must be able to work well with a wide range of people, including customers, clients, colleagues, models, and volunteers;
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects, respond to immediate requests, and work in a high-energy, deadline-driven atmosphere;
• Must employ deep respect and appreciation for our various audiences and their interests and habits;
• Must be willing to work a flexible time schedule.
• Preferably someone within Awoyaya, Lagos State, Nigeria;
• Not more than 28 years old.

Salary
