Lorache Consulting Limited - Our client, a household electronics appliances Manufacturing Organization, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Manager (ICAN Certified)

Location: Ojota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Finance Controller

Responsibilities

• Monthly fixed assets upload and reconciliation.
• Ensuring that all due are followed up for payment as at when due.
• Ensuring that overdue invoices are resolved(reconciled) and followed up for payment.
• Ensuring that balance confirmation is done quarterly.
• Ensuring that collection plans are prepared on or before the 3rd of every month.
• Reconciliation of "top 20" customers’ accounts.
• Preparation of overdue master on a monthly basis.
• Reviewing collections with salesmen as may be required.
• Prepaid Reconciliation and schedule.
• VAT computation and Monthly Account reconciliation of VAT payable and make payment on time before the due date.
• WHT computation.
• AR reconciliation and follow-up with customer and marketers
• Confirmation price before sales is approved.
• Supporting the monthly MIS preparation.

Specification

• Minimum educational standard: B.Sc / HND in Accounting. ACA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum Working Experience: 5 - 6 Years’ related experience in manufacturing accounting.

• AR reconciliation and follow-up with customers and marketers.
• Fixed assets management.
• VAT computation and Monthly Account reconciliation of VAT payable and make payment on time before the due date.
• Confident and determined.
• Must have a sense of ownership.
• Team player and high leadership skill and result oriented.
• Excellent organization problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent in the use of Microsoft Office.
