ICT / Digital Marketer at Blu Atlantic Hotel

Blu Atlantic Hotel is a 44 rooms 4-star luxury hotel in Lekki phase 1, Lagos. It offers a unique luxury guest experience and fine dining.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ICT / Digital Marketer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities
Information Technology:

• Administer network and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, virus protection, and email security
• Perform data backups to ensure all company-owned work is saved
• Install and update network system improvements
• Install and configure wireless networking equipment
• Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi to ensure full coverage
• Assist with the design, implementation, and support of new software and features
• Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software and hardware
• Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
• Provide helpdesk and technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visits
• Oversee troubleshooting for system errors
• Set up equipment for new users and employees
• Consult with vendors and clients to integrate and update company technology
• Ensure system optimization for all technology resources

Digital Marketer:

• Website Design and Development - a digital marketer may coordinate the design and functionality of the hotel website, working alongside web developers and web designers and coordinating the process.
• Content Strategy - Along with the design and functionality of the hotel website, a digital marketer is also responsible for all website content and for creating and implementing the content strategy to ensure online objectives are met.
• SEO and SEM - a digital marketer is responsible for ensuring that the website is easily found by the target audience. Optimising website structure and content for search engines (SEO) and/or the use of paid online advertising (SEM) are two ways a digital marketer helps to drive relevant traffic to their website.
• E-Commerce - where appropriate, a digital marketer is responsible for converting website visits into online sales. This is often achieved by making the online shopping experience as easy as possible and by introducing special deals.
• Social Networking - a digital marketer is responsible for managing the online presence and brand the hotel. Social networking tools such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ allow businesses to engage with their consumers in real time and a digital marketer will often be responsible for this communication.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 2 years relevant work experience.
