Financial Institutions Training Centre - Our client, a leading provider of inland container terminal services, freight forwarding, and logistics services in Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Corporate Services

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Summary

• This is a C-suite role report directly to the Managing director, with responsibility for leading and ensuring the provision of high-level systems and services for all administrative functions within the company, including human resources, finance & accounts, Admin & facilities, and IT.

Responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate will:

• Provide leadership to the departments within the function on matters relating to any issue within the remit of Corporate Services.
• Oversee the finance function, ensuring proper administration of the company’s financial function.
• Advice and assist the Finance Manager and other departments on budget and financial planning strategies
• Monitor and revise the budget in line with changing demands and projected out-turns; and preparing the annual financial statements.
• Ensure effective control and management of the company’s income and expenditure.
• Ensure the provision of meaningful, accurate and timely management accounting and performance measurement information to the MD/CEO and Board of Directors
• Manage all tendering and procurement activity in accordance with relevant guidelines and policies and procedures.
• Oversee the human resource function including recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, compensation & benefits, etc.
• Oversee the IT function, ensuring the ongoing development and implementation of the Company’s IT services.
• Manage the activities of facilities management and administration services.

Requirements

• Minimum of a First Degree / HND in Business Administration or any Business Management discipline is required.
• professional certification in Business management is required
• A strategic and dynamic individual to lead and manage the administration function of the company.
• MBA or Master’s degree in any related discipline is required
• Minimum of 13 years cognate experience out of which 5 years must have been at a senior management level in an organization with a record of success in human resources and financial management linking service delivery to strategic objectives.
• Strong IT literacy skills
• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
