Job Title: Head of Marketing (Bank)

Essential Job Functions
Direct and oversee all aspects of product and service life cycle management including understanding market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field.
Responsible for managing the strategic marketing roadmap, deliverables and assets design, development, compliance and CRA approval, deployment, and marketing in order to gain maximum benefit from each product.
Lead an evolution of the company’s marketing and communications, customer experience, and digital channel strategies.
Secure and direct agency resources (agency, regulatory, and legal) in accordance with corporate direction and budgetary resources.
Digital Marketing Strategist who appraises the marketplace and cultivates outbound awareness and inbound interest through creative digital pathways, effectively connecting with current and prospective customers.
Content Strategist who creates, curates, and coordinates organizational content delivered through all forms of media, reaffirming value proposition, celebrating achievements, and demonstrating impact.
Communication Strategist who informs and amplifies brand messages and stories with internal and external audiences, bringing the brand to life, increasing understanding, and activating engagement.
Design Strategist who portrays brand values and attributes through guidelines, graphics, spatial design, and large scale experiences, reflecting the mission and vision of the Bank.
Behavioral and Cultural Strategist who models a people centered brand approach, empathizing with what the community feels, sees, and hears.
Lead by applying strategic thinking vs. simple strategic planning to develop a vision for the customer journey. Develops strategic marketing plans, identifying imperatives for all aspects of the customer experience and across all channels of delivery.
Set compelling goals for return on marketing investment and continuous improvement, including the analysis of revenue sources to predict how advertising could help the Bank generate the highest possible return on our investment.
Develop an organizational structure to support grass-roots efforts that reinforce a local market commitment aligned with the corporate brand.
Build and develop a marketing team consisting of a blend of internal staff and external vendors to help achieve organizational goals.
Coordinate and execute planned marketing and promotional campaigns, programs and initiatives that achieve strategic and tactical objectives and goals
Develop and oversee a marketing budget that deploys sufficient resources to optimize the business and the brand, including decisions and resource allocation for events, sponsorships and contributions
Coordinate and support shareholder, corporate and community events
Utilize disciplined project management to lead project teams, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and complete projects on time, on budget and within scope.
Convey a sense of urgency, drives issues to closure, hold self and others accountable for agreed-to results.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field is required. Graduate Degree or at least 5 years of work
Experience in a leadership position in a Marketing department or agency is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role related to product life cycle management, marketing, branding, or public relations.
Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred
Has a track record of successfully leading cultural change.
High-level ability to communicate and present across all levels of the organization, including the Board of Directors; must be able to clearly articulate technical ideas to a technical and non-technical audience both verbally and in writing.
High-level ability to create collaborative environment by building professional relationships with cross-functional teams, business leaders, customers, and the general public.
Knowledge / Skills Required:
Detailed understanding and knowledge of Marketing,
Communications, and Public Relations.
Knowledge and experience with data science/analytics to assess the current customer base and overall market opportunity.
Experience developing and managing budgets and business/project plans.
