Job Title: Drilling Engineering Team Lead

Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Requirements
Academic Requirements:

• B.Sc / B. Eng / B.Tech in an Engineering or Science discipline)

Years of Experience:

• Minimum 15 years in E&P environment with substantial experience in drilling, completions and workovers including field-based experience as well as proven leadership experience to provide guidance and support Well Engineering team to achieve their targets.

Professional Certifications:

• Well Engineering certifications (e.g. IWCF Certification).

Job Knowledge / Experience:

• Knowledge and understanding and proficiency in the use of basic and modern drilling engineering software applications for well engineering design and construction.
• An understanding and appreciation of drilling and operations discipline and how they interact with other functions in the organization.
• Knowledgeable in well control and subsurface well pressure monitoring and management.
• Must possess strong economics, risk assessment and strategy development skills.
• Ability to work with other asset functions to ensure to ensure timely delivery of asset/company objectives.
• Experience managing contractors in line with a contract for service.
• Knowledge of Well Engineering and Petroleum standards and regulations.
