Job Title: Driver

About the Job

• We are urgently looking for a Driver to deliver our consumables to assigned customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and managing payments.

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Drop off consumables at assigned place and time
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
• Ensure proper cleaning of the vehicle an detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car.

Requirements

• Minimum of S.S.C.E / OND
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience
• Valid driver’s license and LASDRI
• Must reside around Shomolu, Yaba or Surulere Axis
• Good Knowledge of Lagos Road and routes
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour).
