We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Contract type: Temporary Work Contract
Contractual Hours: Full Time
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Duties

• Responsible for handling our company's ongoing projects.
• Work closely with team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
• Responsibilities also include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.
• Have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a huge advantage.

Profile
Candidates must have the following:

• Required Disciplines: Engineering
• Required Course Of Study: Bachelor of Engineering
• Required Certificate: B.Sc. / B. Eng.

Job Requirements

• Higher education: An Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree or Post-graduate Degree in Project Management.
• Vocational Education and Training: A vocational training course, such as a diploma or advanced diploma in project management.
• Five or more years’ experience, and one or several formal qualifications
• IT project managers require strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development.
• Business & commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills are also essential.
• Analytical skills are necessary in order to correctly identify risks and solve any problems which may arise throughout the project.
• Mathematical and budgeting skills.

Required Skill:

• Proven working experience in project management
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience as a construction project manager, IT project manager, or ERP project manager.
