Job Title: Company Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking for an accountant, to prepare financial statements and oversee our budgeting and forecasting.
• The company will rely on you to provide advice to support the company’s decision-making.
• This role interacts frequently with Management for various business lines to which it is assigned, and will take primary responsibility for assigned revenue streams and/or vendor or customer relationships.

Requirements

• B.Sc / BA in Accounting, Finance or related field; Professional Certification (e.g CPA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• CPA Professional qualification (ACCA/ACA) / working towards CA.
• Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant in a reputable firm.
• In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Quick Books).
• Attention to details.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, able to work with and support cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Salary
N1,800,000 - N2,400,000 annually.
