Primary responsibility is to enable all the Procurement and Expediting of all minerals and related purchases for Neveah Limited in Ebonyi State.
All purchases need to be best Price, Quality and Performance
Source new suppliers for Lead Ore and other related minerals of interest.
The aim is to improve operational cost analysis as a tool to reduce costs and improve financial performance within the Ebonyi Operations Procurement Division
Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by Management
To generate and send to suppliers purchase orders for supplies, services and equipment required by the business
Keep abreast of all contract analysis trends, trends in pricing and current product and supply news
Ensure prompt delivery of products by suppliers
Conduct an audit and prepare financial analysis and delivery turnaround time for every supplier
To handle records and information for the procurement of materials, products or services in the organisation
Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
Use creative international and local sourcing strategies using all available resources
Assist when required on materials and services contract administration.
Ethical and commercially based procurement for The Company
Expedite the supply of equipment and materials to the site.
Source and validate vendor data relevant to equipment and materials
Coordinate deliveries to site and arrange transportation/logistics support
Assist with pricing information for other than procurement purposes such as the preparation of budget submissions, scopes of work, detailed costing for identified modifications and upgrades, as required
To work safely, complying with and actively contributing to Neveah’s Health, Safety and Environmental HSE policies, manuals and procedures. At all times consider the health, safety and welfare of fellow workers, visitors, clients, community and the environment.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
B.Sc. in Purchasing/Procurement or other related fields e.g. Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Warehousing
Minimum of 4 years working experience in procurement or 2 years experience working in a similar role within the Mining Industry
Strong technical knowledge of mining and related equipment
Residents of Ebonyi state
MS Office (MS Word & MS Excel) proficient
Good interpersonal skills, including communication and negotiation skills
Absolute integrity
Available to move between sites when required
Organized, good administration skills, good time management
Team player.
