Job Title: Drilling Engineering Team Lead

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• B.Sc. / B. Eng. / B.Tech in an Engineering or Science discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years in E&P environment with substantial experience in drilling, completions and workovers including field-based experience as well as proven leadership experience to provide guidance and support Well Engineering team to achieve their targets.
• Well Engineering certifications (e.g. IWCF Certification).

Job Knowledge / Experience:

• Experience with Drilling data reporting and Cost Management applications- Open wells, Data analyzer, profile, wellCost, OpenWorks, RealTime Operation Centre, Insight Anywhere, MS Excel Pivot table.

Skills:

• Formulating strategies and concepts and management of activities, assets and projects
• Manage Execution, interfaces and project delivery against time and budget
• Manage contract execution
• Motivate and coach staff
• Develop Well design options and prepare program
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Prepare drilling, completion and cementing program
• Design Well trajectory and drill string
• Define well control criteria
• Project management
• Execute Well Engineering construction workover and abandonment operations
