They provide their clients (including visitors to their website) with up to date business, investing and financial information from Africa's largest economy. They also have a consulting arm that provides bespoke financial management services to clients.

Job Title: Head of Content and Strategy

Description

• As the Head, Content & Strategy at Nairametrics the ideal candidate will work with internal and external stakeholders in line with business needs and position the organization strategically ahead of our competitors.
• The holder of this role will report into the Chief of Staff/Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for content creation strategy and implementation for all Nairmaterics products
• Conduct periodic assessment of the quality of content created and published on the website, social media, newsletter and other channels
• Responsible for developing and implementing new Nairametrics Products, apps, websites
• Develop, implemet and review content processes
• Develop and implement monetization of strategic content
• Drive implementation of the Nairametrics strategy document
• Host and Organize Nairametrics Podcast shows, Interviews, Webinars and other NM programs
• Seek, negotiate and execute content partnership agreements with third-party content providers
• Supervise the developemnent of a subscription-based service for Nairametrics via newsletters, mobile apps and other monetization tools
• Build contacts with business leaders, entrepreneurs, policy markets to maintain a flow of news and contact bank for Nairametrics
• Generate periodic Commodity Outlook
• Supervise development of proprietary and secondary data for research purposes
• Responsible for conducting regular research and liaising with professionals, internal and external, across various industries to ensure best practice in the organization.

Requirements

• B.Sc / M.Sc Degree
• Minimum of 5 years + experience as a content Manager/Project Manager
• Detailed knowledge of finance, proven experience in Content Creation, project Management, Strategy Development & Management and Relationship Management
• Experience interacting with people at all levels in a fast paced evironement, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, resourcing and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role
• Experience working in a media company
• Understanding of digital media and editorial roles
• Good salesman and skill managing partnerships and clients
• Good knowledge of organizing show, events and webinar
• Must be well rounded in knowledge of business and data gathering/analysis
• Knowledge of project delivery methodology
• Strong team-player skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
