Position Description

• The Warehouse / Store Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all Warehouses and Stores.
• Ensure that relevant records are properly maintained and internal control systems are functioning.
• To manage the company’s stores to ensure that all parts and other stocks are available as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Technical services manager.
• Manage and maintain adequate supplies of parts and materials to meet operational requirements.
• Receive replacement stocks of parts, materials and equipment, ensuring that these are correct in terms of number and specification and also timely in accordance with the operational needs.
• Interface with end-users in re-ordering stocks as required to ensure that the optimum levels of required parts, materials and equipment are maintained.

Desired Qualification / Preferred Competencies

• B.Sc. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field.
• At least Eight (8) years of experience in warehouse & store management.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Experience in a professional environment interacting directly with Senior Managers and Executives.
• Directly responsible to the Technical services manager.
• Strong sense of end-users’ service.
• Customer service oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
• Strict disciplinarian.
• Good organization skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft word, excel and outlook and use of SAP (Not Negotiable).
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Track record in inventory control, SAP and staff management is critical.
