Facility / Dispatch Manager at an Online Food Company

We are an Online Food company situated at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, Nigeria. We operate 11:00am to 5:00pm daily.

Job Overview

• Ensure optimal performance of all company assets and equipment at the office premises
• Coordinate and direct all logistics/dispatch related matters in the order cycle
• Escalate all related matters directly to the Executive Director or their Executive Assistant

Responsibilities
Facility Management:

• Schedule and plan regular maintenance and building repairs including but not limited to the following facilities; plumbing, electrical, sewage, sanitary and roofing etc.
• Liaise with engineers and technicians for timely routine servicing and arrange for repairs of all faulty electrical / non electrical appliances and equipment at the office, including but not limited to; Generators, Televisions, Air Conditioners, Printers and Scanners, Computers and Kitchen Equipment etc.
• Purchase petrol, diesel and engine oil for the generators and make sure all are always available in sufficient volumes at all times
• Purchase cooking gas for the kitchen, keep records of cooking gas purchases, monitor the usage and ensure availability of cooking gas at all times
• Handle communication with all vendors that supply petrol, diesel, gas and related products to the company e.g. Forte Oil, Admiralty Way, Lekki phase 1 on petrol matters
• Research for alternative vendors that would supply all the above listed more efficiently and effectively than the current at more economic rates
• Liaise with mechanics to carry out routine servicing and/or repair of all motor cycles for optimal functionality

Logistics and Dispatch:

• Manage the Dispatch Riders and Dispatch processes in ways that always guaranty customers’ satisfaction
• Confirm that packaged foods match the accompanying receipts before handing to Dispatch Riders
• Hand packaged food orders to Dispatch Riders and give clear instructions regarding delivering the orders
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, handy men, engineers, manufactures and retailers on logistics / dispatch needs and purchases
• Organize and monitor storage and distribution of work materials and tools to the Dispatch Riders
• Ensure optimal functionality of all Motor Cycles including but not limited to the following;
• Regular and timely servicing of all Motor Cycles
• Arranging for repairs of faulty motor cycles and negotiating cost of repairs
• Provide petrol vouchers to Dispatch Riders for all the company’s motor cycles, keep records and monitor consumption of fuel for each motor cycle
• Monitor the professional conducts of all Dispatch Riders and report any misconducts to the Logistics Manager for escalation to the management team
• Keep track of expiration and renewal dates for all logistics related regulatory documents
• Resolve all logistics/dispatch related challenges or complaints
• Any other duties which may be reasonably assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree with at least 3 years relevant work experience.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
