We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chef

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary
The main job role for this position will be to set up and establish a culinary department of the company, overseeing the following:

• Menu development and maintaining updated and accurate costing of all dishes prepared and served in the Food and Beverage operation.
• Determines how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays.
• Inventory and budgeting for all products required in the kitchen
• Recognizes superior quality products, presentations and flavour.
• Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
• Ensures all equipment in the kitchen is properly maintained and in working order in accordance with international hospitality standards.

Requirements

• A Degree in any related field.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
• 2 to 4 years proven experience as a chef
• Good Leadership and management skills
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Excellent time management abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations.

Salary

• N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
