The Corporate Finance Analyst will assist with providing corporate finance support to the business.
The Corporate Financial Analyst under the supervision of the Account and Financial Reporting Analyst will support critical business decision-making.
He will support in the preparation of periodic financial records for the organization on all the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and support in updating the company’s Corporate Model.
He/she will also play a major role in the preparation of the company’s annual budget, maintain a budget monitoring process and report on variances.
Responsibilities and Duties
Financial Reporting:
Participate in the development of metrics for managing the evaluation of creditworthiness of customers
Participate in the monitoring and analysis of accounting data and produce financial reports
Manage the preparation and tracking of the company budget
Use of hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions
Support the Financial analyst in the preparation of the company’s Annual Budget, working with the various operational heads, and operational metrics tracking
Regularly update the company’s corporate model with historical information and also to reflect current realities
Participate in the analysis of financial data and creation of financial models for decision support
Participate in the analysis of past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Support the Business in its debt and capital raising activities
Support the Business in the area of investors relation by responding to questions and queries raised by investors/Lenders or potential investors/lenders
Any other accounting function as may be determined by the CFO
Accounting:
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial model accurately reflects financial reporting.
Participate in the evaluation of financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts per financial model, adjusting financial forecasts where relevant
Participate in cost analysis process by establishing a budget monitoring process
Provide necessary supports for annual audits
Participate in the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Management Reports
Participate in other operations of the accounting department including:
Month and end-year process
Cash forecasting and treasury function
Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
Balance sheet analytical review

Qualification / Skills Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics
Between 1 to 3 years of corporate finance experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Detail-Oriented, understanding of software and database systems
Familiarity with data query/data management tools will be extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)
