As a result of the expansion of our business, we are recruiting suitable candidates for immediate employment in the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Berger, Olowora, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
• Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
• Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
• Store keepers check inventory records for accuracy
• Store keepers find, sort, or move goods between different parts of the business
• Store keepers compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory
• Store keepers keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
• Keep documentation of materials and supplies issued
• Preserve records and prepare related reports.

Qualification / Experience / Skills

• B.Sc / HND in Supply Chain Management or a related course.
• Applicants should possess relevant skills, qualifications and experience.
• Proven experience as a store keeper.
• Knowledge of procuring, storing and issuing supplies or equipment in a manufacturing company.
• Experience in keeping accurate inventory records.
• Experience in finding, sorting, or moving goods between different parts of the business
• Ability to compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory
• Ability to keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location.
• Organized and punctual.
• Well-presented and professional.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other warehousing/ inventory management software.
• Dexterity
• Time Management
• Good physical condition and endurance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
