Job Summary

• The Quest Media House is recruiting to fill the role of an Accountant to join our young and ever growing teamto ensure proper compliance with accounting procedures.

What You will be Doing?

• Provide advice to the organization on taxation, purchases, and financing.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet profit and loss statements and other reports.
• Liaise with Tax Authorities, Auditors and other Regulatory bodies as regards preparation and filing of the Audited Financials.
• Monitor compliance in line with accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
• Develop, maintainand implementfinancial internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Co-ordinate and maintain all day-to-day accounting functions including the production of timely and accurate financial information; budgeting and cost control
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns like VAT, WHT, PAYE, Petty cash and Pension.

Educational Requirements and Skills

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or any other related course
• 3 or more years of working experience as an accountant.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables, accounting software, and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amountof data and to compile detailed reports
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Accounting certification is required (ICAN, ACCA, ACA). Candidates in-view will be considered.
• Comprehensive knowledge and exposure to general accounting, taxation and audit standards, practices, principles and procedures
