We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Internal Control Team Lead

Location: Rivers
Employment type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develops and monitors the implementation of a policy framework on standardization, compliance and internal control.
• Validates the financial performance across board and ensure regular conduct of Internal financial/Procurement Audit.
• Liaise with the external auditor in order that both external and internal audit functions could be carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Ascertain the extent to which the organization’s assets are accounted for and safeguarded.
• Takes appropriate measures for the prevention of frauds and elimination of conditions that promote unethical behaviors.
• Undertakes special investigation that may be required to forestall mismanagement of Company resources.
• Produce monthly reports on deviation and monitors the implementation of Management directives on them.
• Develops and manages the Corporate Risk Assessment Framework.

Requirements

• HND / Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• A minimum of ten (10) years related work experience with hands-on audit experience and skill.
• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with ICAN or ACCA
• Proficient in use of MS office
• ISO Certification is added advantage.
