Beatz79 is a leading entertainment and Hospitality Company who currently started operation within the heart of Abuja. We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Executive Chef

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Taste and examine food prepared for freshness and required quality.
• Season and cook food according to CROSSOVER standard recipes.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters.
• Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• A minimum of Culinary school Diploma preferred
• Minimum of 5 years cumulative experience with good knowledge of food industry/regulatory standards.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Quick learning ability and work under pressure.
• Excellent at time management.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to run stakeholder meetings.
• Good Presentation skills.
• Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
• Leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Excellent time management abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
• Candidate must be well versed in local and foreign dishes.
• He or she must have worked as a chef for not less than 5 years.
• Candidate must resides within Abuja Metropolis
• Must have the requisite Chef and food handling certifications.
• He must be a professional, well spoken and have good work ethics (This is a mandatory requirement).
• Knowledge of the individual menu items including basic ingredients, methods of preparation, and presentation style.
