Job Title: 3D Animation Designer

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Internship

Job Description

• We’re seeking someone with a well rounded design skillset and a strong drive to test themselves and add real value to our video production team.
• The successful candidate will contribute to the studio and projects by working side by side with client facing, production staff and senior creatives to execute creative concepts across assets, including:
  • Video, animation and 3d
  • Brand and social promo videos
  • Corporate explainers
  • Employee engagement campaigns
  • Public facing advertisements
  • Engineering and architectural artists impressions and fly-throughs
  • Educational video content (such as LMS modules).

You will have practical knowledge of:

• Adobe Premiere Pro CC
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Experience in Blender and/or Cinema 4D will also be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of video codecs/frame-rates etc.

• Energetic motion graphics. In this part-time position, you assist with video effects, compositing, typography, 2D-3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Creative Services team with video editing, compositing, typography, and 2D-3D animation for social media, broadcast.
• Responsible for utilizing overarching brand toolkits to ensure consistency and quality of all completed projects.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree or certification in Art, Animation, Design, Film or other related field; or demonstrated commensurate experience.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro or comparable software required.
• Proficiency in composition and layout, along with strong animation skills.
• Preferred 1 - 2 years animation, design and graphic experience.
• Ability to submit a recent demo reel, showcasing talent, experience and ability required.
• Great organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient at managing time and effort to work independently on projects.
• Is flexible with schedule; willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays, pending events schedule.
• Able to perform 100% of the job with remote access to a workstation/server. Also, this is on a seasonal or as needed basis.

Skills:

• 3D Modelling and Animation.
• After Effects Motion Graphics and Animation.
• Creation of concepts, solutions, and storyboards for client briefs.
• Aptitude and enthusiasm to explore and learn new skills for emerging technologies.
• Strong graphic design skills a bonus.
