We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media and Content Development Executive

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest and Instagram.
• Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors.
• Understand and work creatively with organization’s business calendar.
• Select appealing images and videos to complement text.
• Update our social media pages with compelling in store shopping experience videos.
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
• Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. for events, open roles and product releases).
• Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates).
• Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
• Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner.
• Network with clients and industry professionals.

Requirements

• First Degree in any related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Social Media and content developer.
• Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise.
• Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
• Ability to take constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with online paid advertising.
• Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video).
• Excellent communication skills.
