Rossland Group since the year 2000 provides market research and management consulting services to clients in the private and public sectors within and outside Nigeria. In 2013, it expanded the scope of its services to include Professional Background Screening and Business Brokerage. In 2015 and 2016, it added franchise consulting and recruitment services respectively.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacovigilance / Post Marketing Surveillance Executive

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Help to organize and keep track and record of all Pharmacovigilance training of all relevant Company’s Staff that handle, market and sell pharmaceutical products under her Portfolio.
• Work with PV Lead to Coordinate, Collect, Collate, Prepare and Report all required periodic reports, adverse reactions/events as well as identify and ensure effective communication of safety concerns for all products under Company’s Portfolio to Company’s management and relevant statutory bodies (NAFDAC) within the stipulated period of time and format.
• To ensure Pharmacovigilance quality management, pharmacovigilance system master file, adverse reaction/event reporting, risk management, post-authorization safety/efficacy studies, risk communication and pharmacovigilance audit are followed through as at when due.
• Participate in Pharmacovigilance activities as may be organized by Regulatory authorities and our principals
• Relate with the company’s regulatory manager on product registrations, renewals and withdrawals to update PV data and documentation
• Work and follow through with the Quality department on all product recalls and organized mock recalls updating PV records and data
• Interact with medical reps and health care providers on issues and reports on adverse events, adverse drug reactions, product complaints and send timely reports to PV lead, Company’s Management and regulatory agency, NAFDAC
• Contribute to the protection of patients and public health through timely health promotion on safe and effective use of medicinal products we market and sell
• Participate in monitoring and running quality assessments on cold chain products to ensure adequate product potency
• Monitor and Document product destruction by NAFDAC due to quality issues or expiry
• Assist in reviewing the pharmacovigilance system including its quality system at regular intervals in a risk-based manner to verify its effectiveness (see sections1.37 to 1.45 of NAFDAC Good Pharmacovigilance Practice guideline) and introducing corrective and preventive measures where necessary.
• Monitor compliance to pharmacovigilance principles, documentation and record management

Education, Experience & Competencies

• B.Pharm Degree from a recognized University.
• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
