TeamAce Limited - Our client, an Engineering Company in the Manufacturing Industry, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chemist

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties

• Coordinate with senior management to identify an area of interest.
• Conduct monthly quality control tests to ensure that no equipment or compounds are contaminated by outside variables or environmental factors that can be controlled.
• Prepare compounds, test solutions and reagents for the correct individuals in the laboratory to perform the appropriate test.
• Conduct monthly quality control tests to ensure that no equipment or compounds are contaminated by outside variables or environmental factors that can be controlled.
• Use spectroscopy, chromatography and spectrophotometry techniques to analyze inorganic and organic compounds to determine physical or chemical properties, structures, relationships, compositions or reactions.
• Introduce light, energy, heat or chemical catalysts to change the composition of various substances to document a qualitative or quantitative analysis.
• Write technical papers and reports; and prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests.
• Oversee the construction, modification, operation and maintenance of pilot facilities, processing units or facilities.
• Order laboratory supplies and chemicals, keeping an eye on expiration dates.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Chemistry / Biochemistry Degree.
• Advanced Degree (preferred).
• At least 4 years working experience in similar Industry.
• Excellent computational ability.
• Full knowledge of hazardous material disposal laws.
• Familiarity with common lab equipment
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• An understand of organic, inorganic, physical or biochemistry

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly
