The Head of Marketing Ops will be a key member of the Marketing, Branding & Communications (MBC) team, responsible for departmental planning, strategies, technology, processes, and data that will help Reliance achieve projected growth objectives.
You will report to the VP of MBC.
This major strategic role requires an individual with strong leadership skills who can work cross-functionally and determine how to effectively align people, processes, and technology at a global level.
Lead a team of professionals to successfully develop departmental alignment and efficiency across all markets
Develop and manage departmental planning, management of strategic initiatives, and investment planning
Standardized global marketing operational processes resulting in consistency and higher quality across all markets
Own continuously improvement of the way we develop holistic, end-to-end marketing strategies and plans
Track and report on the entire marketing funnel including volume, velocity, conversion stage-to-stage, and average value; make sure funnel measures can be analyzed by key dimensions such as industry, geo, and persona
Develop performance dashboards and support with robust reporting of insights on global marketing performance to ensure cross-functional alignment on the best possible data-driven marketing strategy (e.g., paid, organic, field events, nurturing programs, etc.)
Own the marketing operations roadmap, ensuring marketing technology is evaluated, selected, implemented, and customized to meet the needs of the marketing department
Implement and optimize lead scoring (behavioral, firmographic, and predictive models) and lead routing methodologies in partnership with Sales in all global markets to ensure the highest quality leads are passed
Drive alignment between marketing and sales on joint metrics and ensure operational support for the sales development team
Negotiate contracts with vendors.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Project Management, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in operational marketing
Experience managing and developing teams to deliver efficiency and processes at scale
Demonstrated experience designing and managing an innovative marketing technology stack
Ability to establish global process change and technology rollouts/adoption with implored input from field marketing
Strong project management capabilities with history designing and implementing large strategic initiatives
Track record of improving performance through shared expertise on technology, process, and customer engagement
Deep interest in strategic storytelling and being able to make compelling arguments to executive leadership
Skilled in measurement, reporting, and analysis of performance data that leads to repeatable success
In-depth experience working with various marketing tools and CRM is a must
Experience managing data governance, maintenance, quality, and integrity
The ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively to break down problems and find effective solutions
Strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and emphatic management style
Excellent attention to detail and an intuitive eye for building best-in-class efficiency and processes
Strong communication skills – ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members at all levels.
