Job Title: Security / Clearing Officer

Location: Nyanya, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

• Responsible for cleaning packaging materials, loading items into containers, and weighing and labelling the items appropriately.
• Recording the names of visitors, patrolling the property and apprehending any trespassers and ensuring that our property is protected be in charge for Security.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that guests sign in upon arrival and exit.
• Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
• Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
• Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
• Report to supervisors on a regular basis.
• Record any suspicious activities to the supervisor.
• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
• Identify and dispose of defective items.
• Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• A High School qualification or equivalent.
• 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• A qualification in security training.
• Basic first aid skills would be advantageous.
• Physical strength and fitness.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
• Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.

Salary
N18,000 - N20,000 Monthly.
