Fine Arts / Digital Arts Tutor at IDMANN Institute

IDMANN Institute provides training in professional development and technical entrepreneurship through our College of General Studies and the School of Experiential Learning, respectively. We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered online in live sessions with seasoned instructors. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fine Arts / Digital Arts Tutor

Location: Umuahia, Abia
Employment Type: Contract

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or higher Degree with a major or minor in Arts is essential.
• Experience of at least 2 years is preferred.
• Experience with film and video production, editing, cinematography techniques, photo editing, graphic design and visual communication strategies.
• Software knowledge required: Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro and iMovie.
• Must have experience with web-based content management systems, video optimization and archival techniques.
• Demonstrates mastery of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials for teaching.
• Creates standardised lesson plans, which drives instruction through formative assessment and differentiation.
• Maintains an organized class and supports students’ independent learning, collaboration and choice.
• Utilizes a variety of effective instructional and classroom management techniques.
• Provides a variety of assessments and uses assessments for planning and instruction.
• A specialization in fine arts, visual arts, or studio arts is beneficial.
• Experience using online teaching platforms is required.
• Certification or a license from an Educational institute is an added advantage.
