Checkoff Finance has recently received an Approval In Principle (AIP) from the Central Bank of Nigeria. Checkoff Finance is into consumer loans and funds management.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Investment Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full time (Hybrid work model)

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and prepare for client meetings, including the preparation of presentations, memos and reports
• Identify new investment opportunities and execute transaction
• Handle relationships with clients and provide insights
• Identify and analyze fundamental competitive strengths and weaknesses of investment opportunities and identify financial and non‐financial issues, opportunities and risk/reward factors
• Deliver transactions on a timely and expeditious basis and using best practice standards
• Follow-up with all investment processes with potential clients until disbursement
• Work with clients investment needs and provide timely response to their requests
• Assist in developing, maintaining and updating the client investment portfolios as well as the reports related to their investment interest payment

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or its equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the exact role or similar role
• Experience in working on investment projects through an established approval process
• Effective financial and analytical skills
• Effective interpersonal and organizational abilities, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong persuasive skills.

Salary
N3,500,000 – N5,500,000 gross per annum (depending on experience) + commission.
