Job Overview

• Because we are growing, we are seeking a young savvy Content writer who has a way with words, can write original content and curate existing content without plagiarism. 
• Know a little something about standards of English grammar and good with researching articles

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the Africhange blog is up to date, free of mistakes and viewed by as many readers as possible (engaging content)
• Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print
• Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
• Understand requirements from the business on reporting needs and helping to establish Key metrics
• Interpret the data from primary and secondary sources, analysis the data and provide suitable reporting via dashboards
• Present finding back to stakeholders in the business
• Help to develop the data structures and maintain the databases

Specifications

• At least two years’ professional writing experience, Finance/FinTech experience will be advantageous
• Writing: You live and breathe grammar and punctuation and have a deep appreciation for sentence variety.
• Research
• On-page SEO
• Bonus point if you have understanding of remittance and finance
• Comfortable with using Wordpress or other CMS and social media to publish and promote articles

• Written and Verbal communication.
