Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Manage the day to day running of the Finance and Accounting function
• Review and validate all payroll related transactions including monthly statutory remittances
• Review and validate all transactions prepared by the Accountants and Accounting Officers before posting into the accounting system.
• Ensure the timely and accurate recording and reporting of business transactions within the agreed timelines
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for financial transactions
• Prepare the financial month end cycle and year-end for the group
• Preparation of budgets and analysis against actual results and implement monthly variance reporting
• Review month end reconciliations and analyse balance sheet accounts, post adjusting entries if any
• Direct Contact Point for and maintaining effective working relationship with external bodies, including External Auditors, Regulatory Bodies and Financial Institutions
• Preparation and submission of statutory returns
• Ensure good housekeeping of financial records and confidential information
• Provide leadership and management to the finance team
• Provide support to projects and initiatives as maybe required by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 - 7 years experience
• An expert user of MS Excel, spreadsheets, formulas and tables;
• Must have good command of Microsoft Office applications;
• Be pro-active and takes initiative;
• Analytical approach to problem solving;
• High level of comfort with a fast-paced and fast-changing environment;
• Passionate about numbers and highly organized;
• People Management and Leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis
• Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAGE)
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable and trustworthy.

Salary
Very attractive and negotiable (N300,000 Monthly).
