For companies that have grown organically over a period of time, the adoption of IT has usually been incremental and focussed on solving critical business problems as it relates to start-up, growth and expansion. However, in ensuring that the business is able to survive and thrive, often times, the mode of technology adoption has largely been reactive and self-preservatory.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Front End Developer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: 6 months Contract

Job Brief

• We are looking for an experienced, creative, passionate and user centered Frontend Developer to join a collaborative and innovative team to create a visually delightful and easy-to-use digital product in a fast-paced environment.
• You must be ready to work in the office 4 days a week if you prefer working standalone

Main Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing new user-facing features to enhance user experience
• Writing well-designed, reusable, testable and efficient code to meet deliverables within the allocated time frame
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Ensuring that all code written for the designs to be executed are in accordance with the specifications and fully functional
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and Scalability
• Troubleshooting and debugging products appropriately
• Communicating effectively with the rest of the team, especially the project lead, to ensure efficiency and stellar product development
• Translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to backend
• Collaborating with colleagues to improve on existing product.

Key Requirements

• Must have at least two (2) years experience as a frontend developer
• Must have experience with NativeScript
• Must have a good understanding of API integration
• Must have knowledge of API communication, and authentication
• Must have proficient understanding of web markup
• Must have proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Ability to meet deadlines in a strong team environment
• Availability to resolve urgent issues outside of business hours
• Must have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas and suggestions
• Must be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to details.
