Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Utako, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objectives

• The Company is seeking a hands-on individual who will develop, implement, oversee and align its operations with business objectives.
• The role will serve as part of the senior management team while supporting employees’ day to day activities.
• S/he should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support company policies, practices and programs alongside the executive team.
• Plan and monitor the day to day running of the business to ensure smooth progress.
• Measure and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal and external operational processes.
• Optimize the team and resources to deliver on already existing projects and commitments on time and efficiently.
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
• Oversee daily activities across functions such as finance, IT and human resources in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy and hiring needs.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and lead people capacity building initiatives to enhance performance in the organization.
• Manage succession planning in the organization to ensure continuity for critical positions.
• Enhance staff leadership in terms of performance reviews, mentoring, training and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Financial Management or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 Years experience as Operations Manager or Head of Operations in a fin tech or related Industry.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and a strong track record in meeting deliverables and timelines.
• Strong knowledge of best market practices and global trends in financial industry (especially mobile financial services).
• Strong client relationship management skills and ability to build credibility with senior clients.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiatives and work with limited or no supervision.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office (in particular, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Salary
N350,000 Monthly.
