We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance & Accounts Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide operational & financial information and decision support to the functional unit and assigned business units (e.g. KPI analysis; periodic operating reports and forecasts, budget monitoring and control)
• Assist the Group Head Fincon in the development of the group’s annual plan
• Act as a finance and tax advisor to the business units in developing their business strategy
• Review performance with Head of SBUs and identify drivers and levers to improve financial and operational performance
• Prepare and submit monthly P or L forecasts of assigned business units to Head Fincon
• Prepare and submit monthly management accounts of assigned business units
• Assists the SBU Heads in the preparation of budget estimates and ensures timely submission to the
• Prepare and submit periodic reports onfinancial activities for assigned business units to Supervisor
• Liaise with CEOs, SBU Heads based on variance reports, business trends, and recent happenings in the market space and prepares monthly forecasts
• Participate in the planning and preparation of the annual budget for the overall organization

Education and Experience

• Minimum of First Degree / HND in Finance/ Accounting or any related discipline is required
• Relevant professional certification e.g. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria
• (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) is an advantage
• Capital market experience would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in the Finance/ Treasury/ Accounts
