Job Title: Production Supervisor / Quality Control Manager

Location: Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the human and material resources to meet production targets
• Assist in making decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
• Assist in ensuring that standard operating procedures are adhered to
• Set product quality standards
• Monitor quality standards of products
• Assist in estimating production costs and set and manage production budgets

Production Management:

• The Quality Control is responsible for before, during and after Checks of all garments. This process below:
  • ·Checking finished patterns before the cutter cuts.
  • ·Check the cutting process, so that it is true to pattern cutting.
  • ·Production distribution and tailoring supervision
  • ·Assist in Production scheduling with the Production Manager
  • ·Finished garment checks and corrections, if any.
  • ·Directing production processes while ensuring optimum utilization of resources to increase product quality and efficiency in production.
  • ·Designing Technical Packs for all styles.
  • ·Check all patterns drafted by the pattern drafter.
• Coordinate and check tailors during production
• Assist in the creation of production budget and ensure production activities follows a strict budget
• Manage relationships with Pattern maker, Fabric cutter, Production Manager and Tailors.
• Sending weekly reports which includes important issues, suggestions and solutions provided to HR
• Process and Personnel Improvement
• Co-ordinate production staff to ensure productivity
• Identify skill gaps among team members and initiate necessary up-skill measures
• Supervise all aspects of the inventory unit, processes and procedure and the inventory officer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND. In any field is a plus.
• O'Level
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years and above.
• Proven work experience in a similar role.
• Meticulous and pays attentions to details.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
