Rossland Screening Solutions - Our client, a Real Estate Investment Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager

Location: VGC, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee the establishment and effective functioning of the Board and Management committees to ensure that they effectively drive the organization’s objectives.
• Oversee preparation of annual report summarizing progress on short- and long-range plans.
• Direct and coordinate all activities in the organization, through the delegation of responsibilities and duties, to ensure effectiveness and achievement of corporate goal and objective.
• Have overall responsibility for planning and management of the organization’s human.
• Have overall responsibility for the supervision of all departments to ensure compliance with the goals of the company.
• Provide recommendation regarding investment and cash strategies.
• Oversee preparation of annual budget, regular variance statements and annual audit.
• Provide vision regarding overall financial health of the company.
• Provide vision and leadership in long-range fiscal planning to ensure the continuity of the company.
• Be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial projections.
• Be involved in preparing the budget and ensure that the organization operates within budget guidelines.
• Ensure that adequate funds are available to permit the organization to carry out its work.
• Jointly, with the CEO and company’s secretary, be involved in all legal correspondences of the organization.
• To unite the organization-team and motivate the same for the greater achievement of set goals.
• Drive the organization team for growth.
• And any other related functions that may be assigned to you from time to time by the executive team.

Requirements

• B.Sc / BA in Business or relevant field; M.Sc/MA is a plus.
• 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a General Manager in real estate industry or similar executive role.
• Experience in planning and budgeting.
• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.).
• Strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
