Job Title: Junior Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Purpose Statement

• We are looking for energetic and proactive individuals to be a part of the development team supporting both established projects and creating from the ground up.
• The ideal candidate is a team player, having knowledge of both frontend and backend development, can make the development process more fluid and can flawlessly work on open-source elements: JavaScript, MongoDB, Express, React, Vue js and Node.Js.

Key Deliverables

• Translate Wireframes and PSD Designs into functional web apps.
• Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models.
• Creating RESTful services with Node.js
• Work in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience.
• Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code.
• Be responsive to change/ feature requests.
• Write codes that are cross-platform and cross-device compatible.
• Ability to wear many hats and learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in Computer Science or similar relevant fields.
• Previous working experience as a MEAN Stack Developer for (1-3) years.
• Have proven experience in front & back-end development
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB, Express, Node.js, & React or Vue js.
• Must have good Knowledge of Node Debugging.
• Understanding & proficiency in REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
• Experience with modern frameworks and design patterns, minimum one-year experience with MEAN Fullstack paradigm.
