The Centre helps them discover and develop their passion, thereby raising youths who are equipped for the dynamics of today and are prepared for tomorrow's world.

Job Title: Games and Vocations Coordinator

Location: Eket, Akwa Ibom

Job Description

• Play Porch wants to hire a Games and Vocations Coordinator to lead an extraordinary team of dedicated employees at Eket site.
• Our Coordinator plans, organises and supervises schemes for vocational education, games, entertainment, attractions, amusement activities and skills acquisition for children and teenagers.
• The person also develops curricular and methods of instruction for a variety of life skills acquisition programs/classes for children and teenagers, trains, and instructs children and teenagers by analysing performances and developing abilities.
• Additionally, this person will plan, organize and supervise schemes for vocational education of children and teenagers, as well as upskill them for increased interest and participation in games and sports.
• S/He will develop events calendar for entertainment, amusement, educational and brand building activities, and oversee the planning and execution of the events.
• S/He will supervise the amusement, games and skills acquisition team and provide effective guidance.  And s/he will identify opportunities for collaboration and synergy with complementary businesses, NGOs and relevant government agencies.

Ideal Candidate

• Applicants must be Certificated in Guidance Counselling, Educational Development, or a related field.
• Having credentials in Health and Safety training is a plus.
• Experience as an educator and a sports coach.
• The ideal person is one who can quickly develop successful developmental and trusting relationships with children and teenagers as well as their parents from different backgrounds and groups, and with varying levels of sporting, vocational and academic ability.
