Job Title: Executive Driver

Job Description

• The driver's responsibilities include drive vehicles safely, following road safety regulations, considering road and weather conditions, arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

• To drive vehicles safely, following road safety regulations, considering road and weather conditions and being courteous to other drivers
• To appear well groomed, representing the company in a professional manner
• Be punctual and be at least 15 minutes to the designated time and place.
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Ensure the car is always clean and comfortable
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
• Drive keeping the road safety regulations all the time.
• Display a good behaviour, excellent manners and helping attitude.
• Maintain strict confidentiality on all conversations and information heard during transport assignments.
• Arrange for vehicle care and maintenance (i.e. oil change, tire rotation, cleaning, etc.).
• Candidate should be attentive and available on immediate call basis at any time include weekend.

Skills / Qualifications

• OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in any field
• At least 4 years experience as executive driver for Top management
• A valid driver’s license
• Must have an advanced qualification in defensive driving
• A clean driving records
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of Port Harcourt roads and neighbourhoods
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g at rush hour)
• Basic knowledge of car maintenance. General knowledge of vehicle makes model and controls
• Confident, safe, and responsible driver
• Observant with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills, able to give instructions and explain basic vehicle controls and appropriate paperwork
• Excellent Customer Service including empathy skills
• Basic admin skills, ability to complete such as expenses and timesheets
• Respectful, Fully Accountable, Delivering Delight.

Salary
N70,000 Monthly.
