We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Account Manager (Female)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• The Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the financial records, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, providing appropriate financial advice to management as well as development of internal control policies and procedures for the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Account Receivables, Account Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and submit timely monthly management accounts
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close out process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Ensure regular inventory count
• Manage and comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Education and Experience

• Accounting Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of four years’ experience required.
• ACCA/ACA certification
• Between the ages of 30 – 40 years
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Knowledge of Generally Acceptable Accounting Practices and Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
• Working knowledge and experience of an accounting applications

Proposed Remuneration
N300,000 Gross Salary per month.
