We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fashion Intern

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• In this role, you are required to learn how to research trends and current fashions, buy fabrics and pull together accessories to complement created pieces. Assist with fabric cutting and sewing, pattern making and setting up showrooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support, answer phones, check and reply to emails and monitor the company’s social media outlets.
• Assist in managing the company’s closet; make sure that everything is properly arranged and easy to find.
• Support the design team with the development of the product from inception to the floor.
• Research market trends and concepts that support the brand identity.
• Support in creating fit, fabric, finish and trim developments.
• Assist team with sketches, tech packs and maintaining data entry and product line sheets.
• Cultivate relationships and effectively communicate to cross-functional partners including merchandising and product development.
• Any other tasks assigned.

Requirements

• BSc / HND in Social Science, Fashion and Design or any other related field.
• 0-2 years experience
• Knowledge of the fashion industry is an advantage.
• Resilient passion for and interest in fashion design.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, environment with changing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail orientated and thorough.
• Exceptional problem solving and organization capabilities.
• A high degree of flexibility and initiative with limited direction.
• Strong sense of style.
• Superior descriptive skills.
• Ability to translate ideas into words.
