Job Description

• Our organization needs a professional housekeeper cook with integrity, able to prepare delicious meals according to menu that will delight our customers and their families with their taste and timely delivery. Able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals and must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking.
• Cooks are responsible for delivering food that is not only delicious and cooked to the specifications of the customer but that is safe and fresh as well. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in private homes according to employers' recipes and taste, handling all meals for the family, Shop for or order of food and kitchen supplies, organize/ clean kitchens and cooking utensils
• Direct the operation and organization of kitchens and all food-related activities, including the presentation and serving of food. Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Plan menus according to clients’ needs and diet restrictions.Plan and prepare food for parties, holiday meals, luncheons, special functions, and other social events.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, Ensure proper storage of all food and related items
• Check quality of ingredients, monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages , check and purchase groceries/ household supplies to maintain adequate levels
• Ensures housekeeping standard policies and procedures are followed and additional housekeeping duties are carried out as needed.
• Run errands, consistently offers professional, friendly and engaging service.

Job Skills, Qualifications and Requirements

• Must have a minimum of SSCE or equivalent; certification from a Catering or culinary school will be an advantage
• Proven experience as a cook, good time management skill, interact positively, Work well unsupervised and maintain a professional appearance always
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, bake ware Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow verbal directions, all sanitation, schedule/ procedures, Teachable, Organized Hard working and Ability to Adapt to Different Situations.
• Ability to work in a team, report to supervisors, Take Criticism, good Listening Skills, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards,
• Very good communication skills, Excellent physical condition, High Energy Levels, Must be Respectful, polite, civil, a team player and Must be God fearing
• Good Customer Service skills, Reliability, Organizational skills, Integrity and Honesty
