Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Location: Ogudu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Dispenses prescription medication and other medical products to patients under the direction of the licensed pharmacist
• Attractive arrangement of products (drugs and non-drugs) within the Pharmacy store.
• Regular checking of product expiry dates.
• Counts pills, labels bottles with prices as directed
• Performs administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription orders, operating cash registers, restocking inventory and general cleaning of the store and products.
• Gather, organize and assess patient information
• Supplies patients with information, answer questions relating to their drug usage under the direction of a licensed pharmacist
• Ensure quality service delivery through the implementation of the cadencing process
• Actively participate in all pharmacy related activities such as meetings, Pharmacy academy, community outreaches and other related activities
• Receive and take inventory of products supplied.
• Carry out cleaning of shelves
• Prepares billing information for medications
• Completes patients' sales transactions for the purchase of prescription and over-the-counter medications as well as other pharmaceutical products.
• Place orders for products needed in the Pharmacy as directed by the Pharmacist
• Come up with solutions and ideas to improve customer service delivery
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management or team lead.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree
• Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacology
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a community pharmacy.
