Job Title: Videographer

Our Ideal Employee

• We are looking for an organized and cool-headed individual to work as an in-house videographer who will helps us expand our content creation. You must be comfortable working with our creative directors to bring a vision to screen, and in addition, must be capable of storyboarding and shooting your own concept.
• You will leverage your solid background in video production in making pre to post video production, including filming, editing, and colour correction, as well as working with Adobe tools to enhance and amplify your outputs.
• You will always be thinking about how a piece of content can live within our brand channels (on our website and on our social media platforms).

Scope of Work

• To oversee daily multimedia activities and day to day brand projection of the company by leveraging appropriate multimedia technologies and tools to meet the company’s expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the brand team on video style, strategy, and storyboarding
• Conceptualize and deploy video ideas suitable for web and social media audiences
• Work independently to produce videos by shooting and editing, as needed, with reviews at critical points
• Find creative solutions to shooting videos in a startup environment with quick revision cycles, while still being able to produce high quality, professional content
• Be agile and willing to revise and improve the content on an ongoing basis
• Communicate effectively between stakeholders in a larger creative process.

Photography Skills:

• Framing and shot composition
• Lighting and sound
• Focus, exposure and angles
• Knowing which equipment to use for various kinds of filming.
• Shooting primary footage, background footage and live feed.

Editing SKills:

• Understanding post-production techniques
• Proficiency with various editing software
• Editing raw footage.
• Adding effects like music, captions, graphics, alt text.

Creative Skills:

• Collaborating with others to create the film or video product
• Being able to interpret creative directives
• Knowing what footage to keep and discard
• Telling a cohesive story through film clips

Physical Skills:

• Dexterity for handling cameras and equipment
• Setting up and taking down equipment
• Maintaining, repairing, calibrating and troubleshooting equipment and gear
• Stamina to withstand long working days
• Being able to move around to achieve the perfect shot
• Ability to work in the studio or on location.

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 monthly.
